Titans Have High Hopes for Scaife in 2010

July 21st, 2010 in Player News | Tags:

Health issues plagued Bo Scaife last season, but with a knee injury now behind him, the Tennessee Titans and Scaife expect big things from the tight end this season, according to the Tennessean.

Scaife is entering his sixth season in the NFL, and has recorded at least 40 receptions and 400 yards in each of the last three seasons. Scaife caught 40 passes last season despite missing two of the first three games with the knee injury that kept him from feeling 100 percent healthy all season.

This offseason, Scaife missed voluntary workouts with the team to train in Denver, and finally feels completely healthy.

Scaife enters the 2010 season as the squad’s veteran tight end after the departure of Alge Crumpler, who left to join the New England Patriots this offseason.
