October 13th, 2010 in Player News | Tags:

After suffering a right injury in Sunday’s game, Jermichael Finley is expected to miss the rest of the 2010 season, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and ESPN.

The good news is that the procedure is expected to have better long-term results for the Packers tight end, but the recovery period is 8 to 10 weeks.

Finley currently ranks among the tight ends so far this season in yardage and leads his team with 301 yards after 5 games.

According to NBC Sports, Finley has begun notifying his teammates about his season-ending torn lateral meniscus.
